SneakPeek Clinical Gender Test
Our SneakPeek early gender test is a simple blood test that confirms the sex of your baby from as early as 6 weeks gestation. It uses the same technology as NIPT testing, whereby foetal DNA from the mother’s blood sample is analysed and the presence of the male chromosome (Y) is either found to be present or not present.
Key information about your SneakPeek Clinical Gender Test:
- 15 minute appointment where our experienced phlebotomist will take a maternal blood sample
- Please note that you must be at least 6 weeks pregnant for the test to be effective
- The price of £129 does not include a dating scan
- Results direct to your email within 5-7 working days (please note this may be longer during times of peak demand, such as Christmas)
Upgrade to include Dating Scan for £50 (highly recommended):
Hey Baby 4D highly recommends having a dating scan ahead of the test. This is to ensure that your pregnancy is viable, and to confirm the gestation of your pregnancy. Additionally, we will check for multiple pregnancies – all of these things can affect your test results.
Dating scan upgrade includes:
Scan length: Approx. 7-10 minutes Appointment duration: Approx. 15 minutes (total 30 minutes including test and scan)- Locate your pregnancy
- Locate baby’s heartbeat
- Date your pregnancy – to confirm how far along you are
- Confirm single or multiple pregnancies
- 2 x image prints to take home
- No extra charge for twins or multiple pregnancies

Please note:
- We are only able to provide services to customers over the age of 18
- If you opt for a test without a scan, there is a chance that your pregnancy may be at a different stage to what you expect, or that the pregnancy is not viable. Hey Baby 4D therefore advises that a dating scan be performed ahead of the blood sample being taken
- The video recording has no audio capability
- We have male and female sonographers working in our clinic. A chaperone service is available free of charge – please let us know if you’d like one when you arrive for your appointment
